Be warned that turmeric powder can stain the skin and items used with it, but will fade on your skin within a few hours of use. This mask is best used when you have time in the evening.
- Turmeric is a powerful anti-inflammatory, and helps to reduce redness, puffiness, and scarring. This makes it ideal for swollen, irritated skin by helping to heal and soothe the skin.
- Activated Charcoal Garlic is a powerful antimicrobial, which helps knock out acne causing bacteria, helping to diminish blemishes fast!
WHY POWDERED? Powdered masks keep if they stay dry, giving them a longer shelf life than wet masks! Plus, you get to mix the consistency you like, giving you better control over your skin care regime.
Directions: On a freshly cleaned face, add 1 tsp. powder to equal parts water (or enough to form a paste). For an extra boost, try mixing with hydrosol, honey, milk, or apple cider vinegar. Let dry for 15-20 minutes before washing off. Follow up with a moisturizer. Use 1-2 times per week. Don’t use more than that, or you will cause dryness to skin.
